Tech is getting lazier. I think it started with showing you countless ads for things you just bought and now it's not bothering to even give good music reccomendations.

We're the problem.

Tech just mirrors us. We clicked, we trained it, now it assumes we want five more toasters and a remix of that one song we skipped.

By definition capitalist service will enshitiffy. You gotta actively go to the underground and seek music you like in zine and stuff :)

Unironically, what @antigermanist said, it's like with spotify and it's shit algorithm. But it's the big player right, so let's copy it instead of improving something because the bean counters fear anything more risky than a glass of milk and even then, they're scared it's gone off.

They've also discovered how to force you to have an interest in things in ads instead of trying to service you with stuff you find interesting. I believe it was facebook that was boasting about knowing when you're hungry or going to the bathroom so they can optimally show you a McDonalds ad
