@xzvf because I like support the websites I'm on. Usually. And Ads aren't that bad. I like ads rather than paying for shit.

I just had to visit some pages on a laptop that had no adblocker installed.
The ads are fucking devious towards users who don't know much about their pc.
Worst was that same pages had autoplay ads, with sound, without the ability to mute or pause. There were more ads on the page than actual content.
Some pages where fine though.

@LinusCDE autoplay videos with sounds? That's impossible in the newest version of Webbrowsers. Pls send a link, I wanna know they did it

@BambuSource The site was chip.de . I tried to download a neccessary software and the video appeared below the countdown to get the file.
But the browser was a older firefox version (not Quantum) but should not've been too old.
