Ah yes, I love mail and IRC servers because of that.. boy do I fucking love them. I love how they introduce a bazillion options to configure, and how the IRC one (inspircd) even explicitly mention in the config and the motd that apparently "not going through the entire fucking clusterfuck makes you a lazy cunt". And no documentation either of course. Arrogant fucking wankers.

I seem to be the person that tries to implement the default solution using the default HowTo - not going fucking anywhere because shit fucking breaks somewhere in the process.
Fuck people who advertise their software "as easy to install and to maintain" not maintaining their documentation.
