Agree with mundo, Python was programming first, math (and others) second, mathlab was math all along.
Plus, how a gentleman put it some time ago on devRant, starting from 0 is indexing, not counting, while in math you don't index stuff, as you dont care where on the stack, heal, paper, etc the elements of the array are 😁
