problem solved - Use light IDE when there's a lot of light around and dark in the dark. Your eyes will thank you too in the future. - devRant

My eyes are already fucked.

Just trying to enjoy my time at this point lol

(For the record, I usually do use a light theme if I'm outside, due to the dark being unreadable.)

Idk. There's a giant window behind me and sun always directly on my desk/monitors. The light theme still kills my eyes after a few minutes.

Edit: Just tried it again and nearly went blind trying to see the text.

@octoxan I never accept a working place with a window behind my back. Even with antiglare monitor, the reflections would drive me insane. Either completely block the window or reposition your desk.

Even during daylight the light theme is stressing my eyes to a point that I get headaches. So I also use dark themes at the brightest day.
