I have 14 days left before uni starts, but my keyboard broke and keys: 'u' 'd' and 'o' send the key twice, which means I'll go fucking insane before I finish writing a simple function and no blowing into the switch with compressed air, no washing it with water and letting it dry for a day helps.

    Happened to me too, gotta be using my sister's laptop. """i,o,p,8,9,0,-,=""" all make backspace go bonkers and """a,s,d""" is a game of which letter will you get. I type 's' I get 'x'....wtf

    @Holyfield3000 You've spilled something on it, definitely.

    So, did I - and I think residue of dry tea is stuck in that switch, but I can't afford another day without keyboard - drying the darn thing.

    @HelloUglyWorld precisely, wish I had a solution for you, but I did zero research in trying to fix it. Hopefully you have a sister you can jack like me

    @Holyfield3000 I have a laptop I can use instead - but meh.

    Try washing your keyboard with tap water and drying it in the sun or in a very non-humid spot in your house. Helped me the other 5 times I drowned this exact keyboard in a diet coke.

    Freaking 250$ keyboard that isn't water-resistant eh.

    @HelloUglyWorld when I was a student I used to have a cheap keyboard that I would switch to whenever I had a party.
    Don't even remember how many drinks got spilled on that. But after each party we would just put it in the dishwasher.
    It lasted almost 10 years.

    @HelloUglyWorld wait, pardon my ignorance but you've been talking about a standalone keyboard?

    @MisterArie Dishwasher???!!!

    @Holyfield3000 yeah, dishwasher. We read about it online and us drunk students thought it was worth a try.

    Just make sure it's dry before you connect it again, and wouldnt recommend it with expensive keyboards ^^ more like a last effort attempt.
