Moving my home folder a new partition so I can swap distros. But which distro to choose???

    I can recommend Elementary OS for dure or just Mint, solus. Depends on what you specifically want to use it for :).

    @linuxxx I've tried elementary before but went back to ubuntu. I think I might try centos or fedora as I've never ventured down that yum based rabbit hole yet.

    Fair enough! Never tried Yum systems because I'd rather stay with apt-get but a friend of mine really likes fedora!

    @linuxxx I have had a few people point me at fedora but have always stuck with apt-get apart from using Arch once. Feel like I want to see debian holds up when I have tried something else...

    Look at Bunsen Lab's CrunchBang. It's not flashy or anything but it's design is extremely sensible and the default OpenBox configuration they use is ruthlessly... Sensible.

    @KiteZilla Used that a few time. takes a little to get used to but works like a charm!
