Fuck you Oracle Forms and fucking database locks.

Oracle Forms... sigh... I feel for you.

A boss i had once demanded that changes he made directly to the data via sqldeveloper (including pessimistic locking on long conversation states) might be reflected in our transactional web application (jsf + hibernate + c3p0) at once. We tried to explain him the reasons not to try that kind of thing but in the end we just flushed the damn session just to please him 🤦‍♂️
