Ah... I think I get it now... Took a nap and realized what the glass is too big meant... I think... Glass == workload.

Guess my subconscious got it before I did... And that's maybe why I was ranting about my job to an imaginary interviewer while I was in bed...

@billgates you are close. It's workload execution capacity. Manager perceives it as a half capacity. While the engineer already knows the current workload is all the minions can handle.
It is the job of the manager to optimistically report that the workload will increase without anything but overtime to accomplish it 😃<- optimistic face helps convincing the pessimists
