I am confused. Is it a "question" despite the "Joke/meme" tag?

    - If so, Manjaro is still "Linux" so that would not make a difference. If you'd rather switch right now for whatever reasons, go for something like BSD.

    - KeePassXC is an open source cross-platform password manager. You will only need something (Syncthing, NextCloud, etc.) for the synchronisation part, but that's fairly easy to set up.

@Jilano dammit clicked the wrong one yea its meant to be question instead of joke/meme

the main problem i see with bsd is with a quick google it looks like steam isn't ported to it as gaming is the main reason i switched back to windows

ill have a look at keepassxc

@terraria99 Not to worry, I just wanted to make sure.

I understand that concern, here are my view on it. There are 3 (could almost say 2) ways to play video games on Linux:

    1. Native (through Steam, Wine, and whatnot)

    2. In a VM with GPU passthrough

    3. Dual-boot with Windows (This one doesn't really count, in my opinion)

So, keeping that in mind, you have multiple solutions:

    1. Deciding to stay on Linux because the CoC (if it stays) will most likely not affect you at all. (Might still annoy you depending on your moral/ethic)

    2. Try BSD and opt for the VM way (in which case this subreddit might help you: https://www.reddit.com/r/VFIO)

    3. Look for more information about Steam on BSD (found that but haven't looked into it: https://github.com/SteamOnFreeBSD/...)

    4. Have a Windows installation on dual-boot

    5. Stop playing games that aren't directly compatible

I hope that'll help. Don't hesitate to ask about KeePassXC if needed.

I think I'll dual boot now and slowly let it take over my laptop

Also I was more thinking of syncing to my phone like robofourm can (I can't find an anroid version of keepassxc)

    @terraria99 Fair enough.

As for the Android app, I'm currently using https://github.com/PhilippC/...

If you want to go the easy way at first, you can sync with Dropbox.
