My new shitty lenovo work laptop, running windows 7 on 4 gigs of ram made in the last decade, suddenly decided to run windows updates from 6 months ago, and is currently running update 7/22. Which it's been doing for literally 4 hours.

If someone's country legally allows euthanasia, please let me know.

    And Holland.
Seriously though I had this "problem" back in June. Switched to Arch and never looked back.

I bought my mom $200 2 in 1 laptop for her usual excel and MS word works that she do. That laptop was perfect for her work even with its 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory.

Over the last few months, it has become an headache to use it because of the freaking windows update that tries and fails to download over and over again because the freaking windows already ate up over 80% of its storage.

They say they have AI and other fucks to optimise windows update and yet doesn't do the basic check to find whether system has enough space to download the update. Doesn't offer a way to turn off the updates either.

Every time when internet is connected it attempts to download update and fails at 90% and then repeats the process again like a retard, eating bandwidth of our barely fast internet.

I dispise MS and their other products. I will never buy a windows laptop or microsoft hardware.

Recently I did a registry hack and also disables windows update service. So that's a relief for now.

Australia has a loophole where you can buy nitrogen for beer making but it just so happens to come with a bag to kill yourself with too.
