    Don't worry, even imgur, 9gag and others were copied. Not only once. Until it's a total revamp, it's kind of achievement I'd say.

    the coding confessional site has been around for 3 years; I like their forced anonymity as it leaves one a little more free to vent without fear of repercussion, though it seems devRant gets a lot more traffic :)

    just checked it out, I don't care for the whole absolve/condemn thing. And it's users seem to use the anonymity to exude more malice, which harbours a more negative community.. IMO

    Seriously though, still using md5 to hash passwords? Some people just want to watch the world burn...

    @lucascorpian I would like to think he was using sarcasm to describe how terrible his company's security practices are. When I hired on a little more than 2 years ago with the company I am at now they were still using plain text passwords. Even worse the (now legacy) devs had no concept of how hashing or any cryptography worked. They just adapted to a security practice called ignorance is bliss instead. I could of totally saw myself posting something simular at the time.
