installed PiHole.... it blocks some ads, but I'm still getting a bunch of ads.... : (

    Clear your DNS cache? I never get any ads.

    I barely, if never, see any ads. I've got my lists from filterlists.com it has nice filtering optios, so you can find what you need. Firebog.net also has some nice lists, though I've only used the common whitelist from there.

    @olback how do I do that? lol I'm very new to networking. I also read something on a forum somewhere that your router can still sometimes fallback to a regular DNS (by that I mean, e.g. Comcast/Google/etc. DNS). do you know how I can check this?

    I gotta set up a VPN too so I can get this ad block on my phone...

    @mjones44 fist make sure you actually use your pihole. And don't enter any backup or secondary dns server.
