Those hours are horrendous.
Fortunately(?) I never worked for a large studio, so the company only mimicked some of the awfulness.
Unfortunately it means nobody takes my game dev/design experience seriously. -

Forced labor camps *might* be worse, but only because they don't get paid. -
Wow, it's way worse than I thought... The saddest part is that working that much overtime for extended periods of time is killing your productivity so everyone loses.

Root797786y@ihatecomputers People always want to make games, though, so the studios (and absolutely the publishers) not-incorrectly see everyone as replaceable.
