Third (or fourth) AI winter coming in despite global warming. Cold war level shit cyber warfare.
C/C++ not dead, Java zombie still in the businesses.
Still no usable IDE (on Linux)

    IntelliJ etc. work perfectly fine for me, no idea what you mean. And last time I used Eclipse it ran faster on Linux than Windows.

    I always felt like you get the best development experience on Linux.

    Everything windows just straight up obnoxious

    Android studio runs faster on my Ubuntu than Windows.
    Launch time of VScode is faster in my Ubuntu than Windows.

    @PrivateGER @deadlyRants @SovietStorm Was stuck in Eclipse too long, always hated it (dated look, how it took up 11GB of RAM after running for three days). Tried kdevelop, qtcreator,.. codeblocks I think. All had their issues. Also with VSCode I had some problems with code navigation going off the riff sometimes, but now I tend to like it more and more.

    (Maybe it shouldn't have been "usable" but "FOSS, nice looking, working out of the box, yet customizable" or so.. and maybe it's not so bad, how it felt for years)
