Some times you just run out of Ctrl+Z. I suggest printing each version of your code :D

git reset --hard

I know I'll be chastised for being a boring old fart and not getting the joke, but in all seriousness - take a few days to learn the ins and outs of git properly. It really is a fantastic tool that can immensely increase your productivity if you put in the time to learn it properly.
