IBM acquires RedHat

From what I’ve read, redhat will still run itself, just with an IBM budget.

@C0D4 will redhat have access to all of IBM's resources though?

Like tech wise, if that's the case this is a brilliant step redhat that will bleed into the every day consumer

@lxmcf not entirely sure to that extent yet, but this seems to suggests redhat will operate as is within IBM.

IBM uses RHEL 7.5 as basic workstation for employees but the repositories are broken as fuck. Hope this will make things more compatible and less broken. It's seriously not pleasant to work on those. Had to figure out so many workarounds.

Wait, no one is complaining about this? Then why does Microsoft get so much hate for buying GitHub?
