Is it weird that I like windows 10?
Also should I install a dev environment for Windows 10

    Not weird. Perfectly normal.

Use chocolatey to setup ur dev env.

you just havent met the problems yet.

    That's fine.

For the dev environment: wipe W10, install your favorite Linux flavor. 🤗

Just joking, it's just that I find it so frustrating working on Windows, there's so much things that don't work as expected and you'll never fix because it's hidden behind the proprietary wall.

not at all, the best OS for me

@Aiei anything can have problems, if you found a problem doesn't mean it's a disaster and it's a problem for everybody

    @WhozorRakin for example?

    P.S.
I grab popcorn waiting for linux nazis: "switch to linux, windows sucks, linux ftw..."

I know I'm going to get down voted for this but anyone who has used both Linux and windows before would agree that development on Linux is more more convenient assuming the person has basic knowledge of Linux.

Get a check up first. I don't mean any offense.

I find Windows to be the most frustrating OS, ever.

@dontbeevil capital letters in the file system, file system calls slowness, when there's no driver that automagically installs and nobody found a solution, loads of things.
It's not that I hate windows it's actually pretty good at other things that linux distros are not, but using it at work and Linux at home, I prefer the latter to develop cause I can dive from the software to the hardware and find every piece of code.

@HarleyQuinn i used both and i still prefer windows, that's your opinion and it's fine, but people should stop to talk for everybody... Also depends in which scenario are you working on

@WhozorRakin I see, i never heard about this capital letter things, sounds strangely interesting

@dontbeevil You should definitely look it up, it's damn funny and they can't fix it because there's so much legacy part of the OS using it, so much compassion for the devs working on it ^^
