    0 is just infinity looked at upside-down.
  • 3
    @devios1 0 upside down is still 0

    How about :
    1+2+3+4+... = -1/12
  • 2
    @asgs 1/0 = ∞

    1/∞ = 0

    @devios1
    God damit.
    That is WRONG.

    Those expressions are undefined!

    1.They only work in limit sense.
    2. You didnt specified if 0 is "positive" or not

    @Gregozor2121 It’s just to illustrate their relationship. Both infinity and zero are mathematical singularities and you can’t just plop them into algebra and expect them to work.

    But you are right you also need to consider the sign of the zero, which is another indication that it is a singularity: 0 = -0 but 1/0 != 1/-0 therefore 0 != -0.

    @devios1

    Zero dosent have a sign :P

    You just approach it from positive or negative side.
    (basicly my second point in my previous comment that you missed, this is why i put it in quotation marks)

    Ok Im just nitpicking. Let stop arguing about it. The most important thing is that everybody knows how it works.

    @devios1

    1/∞ = 0

    1 = 0*∞

    ∞ = 0/1

    Hmmm, yup. Makes sense to me
