the effort is low, but the need for this instead of just looking at a dashboard that just takes a sql query is so fjdasjfdalfd.

That just sounds like it's not sending enough messages to slack, cause it to send several hundred per day, and people will ask you to turn it off ;P

Ugh, it's like every team's obsessed with Slack notifications these days, turning simple data pulls into a whole production. I'd rather just fire off a SQL query and call it a day instead of dealing with yet another chat channel mess.
