Motorola.

Nice bang for buck with their mid-range phones, but the OS basically doesn't get updated and the support is shit.

Totally... I have a moto z play, got the oreo update and my soft buttons for "back", "home" and "app switcher" are not working anymore. Yay...

i have a moto e for 50 bucks, can't really expect much support there. at least they allow you to unlock the bootloader (warranty void ofc) so you can install lineage.

@FrodoSwaggins official product names still include Motorola in them.

But yes, I hate the Lenovo era of Moto phones. I had a Droid X2 back in the day and at the time it was a great phone.

A month ago, I went to my nearest service center to get a replacement charging cable (original malfunctioned, device bought 8 months ago). They asked me to submit my phone along with my charger and sign a waiver that clears them of liability for data recovery as they'll re-flash android.
I could not believe this fuckhead telling me all this BS so i called the moto care and told them why they need to re-flash my phone if i want a replacement cable? Care Rep sided with the technician telling me - "Sir, we need a unique code that only can only be obtained after reset, and if not needs OS re-flash".
    What The actual Fuck!....

    Bought the cable online.
