i love their games and the whole model of community but now its just become a big cash grab for MOBA players. nothing against the ppl that enjoy DOTA, i just wish all the other games that still have a lively community got the same level of maintenance and attention.

I prefer them as a party just making the launcher, improving the launcher and make it better for devs.

I have become more and more indifferent to Valve,
- steam machines ? No fucks given
- stramOs ? no fucks given
- Valve made games ? Too old or overrated IMO
- Steam controller ? Please
- big picture ? Let me laugh
Their vulkan compatible wine fork is dope though I hope they develop it further.

@Hallelouia steam machines were launched to quickly, once the valve versiob of wine is a bit better would be a good time.

SteamOS, just a try to make gaming on Linux happen

SteamController, better than xbox and dualshock. They are way to small. And the trackpads are great.

Big picture, amazing for playing games on the couch with steam link. Also VR.

Its a matter of use cases, most fit me, but probably almost none fit you.

@Codex404 you are very right but I hoped for better products and that steamOS would have motivated more devs and companies to make Linux compatible games and drivers.

@Hallelouia it motivated quite a lot of devs to do so. Some publishers didnt like the idea (no proven money). Thats the main reason most decent indie games have Linux support where most AAA games dont.
