*gets awesome idea*
*gets another awesome idea*
*gets a third awesome idea*
*gets a fourth awesome idea and forgets the first one*
*gets a fifth awesome idea and forgets the second one*
etc, etc, etc.

that stuff can get really f*cking annoying.

That's why I have a checklist on my Google Keep with all the *brilliant* ideas I have

@P3t3r6 I should do that as well, there's probably a service like Google keep but then not from Google?

I use paper and pencil. Helps me memorize them.

@linuxxx Yea, there are some. My gf uses Wunderlist a lot, but I don't really like it, cause it's only for checklists. There's Any.DO (again, only lists). Evernote (never used, but from what I've seen, it's good. I believe it's limited to 2 devices only, tho). Simplenote is also good, and really simple, and you can write I'm markdown, which is nice for us developers :p Although it's recent (so, not a ton of features), it's fairly solid.
All of the above are available as desktop apps, or at least web apps.
But don't take my word for it, do a little search and see what suits you best :)

@P3t3r6 Yeah, thank you! I don't want to use any Google product or anything that's not end to end encrypted so I'll have a look around :).
