It's a lot simpler than other CMS and pretty straightforward to make your own theme (I'm looking at you wp! 😠)

You can deliver a working CMS to your client so they don't bug you every time they need to update a name on their site.

I'm not sure if I will end up using this for my clients or not. But I am gonna try to make a custom theme and see how fast I can work on it.

But why? What’s the benefit over hugo, or something similar? There are a lot of static web generators...

And this is not a generator but rather a small CMS. Grav has all CMS features. Pretty similar to WordPress but in flat file format. And there are themes and plugins.

@cursee wordpress is also in php :) but cool, I’ll try it out
