Yeah, I am not sold on the frequencies not based on 110Hz being more healing. There are ancient structures that literally resonate at 110Hz. Which I wonder if that is why we adopted these frequencies.

Are there ancient structures based upon different frequency bases? I would look to India to answer that question.

Also, maybe different bases heal different things? I have heard of cancer cells being destroyed by frequencies as well.

edit: I think resonance needs a lot more research done.

There is no such thing as a "healing" frequencies.

The healing property of music comes from the language. It's entirely socially constructed. You like to hear music because it's a bunch of human communication with listeners. It's beautiful

@jestdotty I think you are right. After looking around a bit those freqs are used by a lot of people for this purpose. Interesting. I also saw there are a bunch of studies on the healing properties of different sounds on the body. Explains why a lot of eastern cultures did meditation with sound.

edit: okay, I need to look at integrating some of this into a game. I know people love the music of skyrim as it is a nice relaxing feel to it. So maybe this could be an avenue of promoting better health for gamers.
