I didn't posted something in a long time so...

TL;DR: FUCK YOU ANDROID STUDIO YOU FUCKING SHIT PIECE OF SOFTWARE

Thank you for your time.

I am running my own meme social network. For quite some time I wished I knew a Android developer, which could help me.

Because I know java I tried it myself, and Android studio is one of the worst programms I've ever seen.

My app crashed the whole time, just because my studio version was 1 behind. Updated studio, everything worked.

My layout wasn't showing correctly, reopened Studio, all layouts deleted.

For no good reason video views aren't resizing, so I need to use exoplayer.

One video on my platform nearly crashes the app when creating a thumbnail.

And so one....

I fucking hate Android studio...

(PS: if your a German, Swiss, Austrian you could check out my network and may become a beta tester of the app)

    - The app shouldn't create the thumbnail, your application's API should serve that.

    @xewl great Idea, didn't worked

    @crapped that's nice, but I know many people that have issues with Android Studio. And everyone has different

    Sidenote though -because of grammar nazi tendencies-, totally meant as constructive feedback.

    "didn't" is already past sense, the word after it shouldn't be.

    I didn't posted -> I didn't post
    did not worked -> did not work

    Hope this saves you from typing those extra letters next time.

    @deeploop I liked it when it used eclipse as base. Since it switched to intelliJ I got all the problems

    @SteffTek yeah i know it gives error and even for me sometime it takes days to figure out error.
    But at the end I was realize that the problem is with code or gradle file and not the android atudio

    @deeploop jeah that happens too, but there are other errors. A friend of mine gets an RAM overflow in every project, even if it's a fresh activity. After 1-2 hours his ram is completely overloaded.

    I got 32gigs of ram and while running Android studio my system peaks to 27 gigs in usage. Not that bad but still...

    @SteffTek oh thats bad!!
    thats very bad

    @SteffTek this used to happen to me when i used windows.
    but now i am using android studio on ubuntu and it hardly takes 1gb of ram.
    if possible dont use android emulator it will take much ram.

    @deeploop I can't use an emulator because of hardware acceleration (AMD). So I am using my p20 pro from Huawei. Works like a charm for once :D
