This reminds of a time a friend of mine CC'd a test message (to his GF) to lots of his company's intranet users since he was testing a functionality while connected to a production database holding actual user data and real emails.

One of the CC'd people was his boss's boss, who sent an email asking "who the fuck is 'amorcito'?" (what he called his GF).

He wasn't fired, but heavily mocked.
