Ux/ui I like scroll bars and think they are useful in mobile. But it appears the standard not to display it these days? Opinions?

Agreed, though I like the way Wikipedia handles scrolling very much, with a grabbable scroll widget that behaves like a scroll bar, but informs you what section of the article you're scrolling to.

@thatsnotnice how is it useless? It gives a good indication how long a read something is

@Codex404 i meant static scrollbars. fade-in/fade-out scrollbars are useful
or example a horizontal progress bar on the top

but a static scrollbar on mobile please no, we use devices mostly in portrait mode, horizontal space is already limited enough for a static scrollbar
