Didn't touch windows for about 8 years and just installing it for the sake playing The Sims 4. Downloading a couple of software and got 100 malware -_-

    Don't torrent the Sims 4 ;)

@theKarlisK Even as someone who makes 100k+, I would not buy all those expansion packs + other packs. And trust me, I’m pretty lax when it comes to spending

And it's the OS fault...of course!

@theKarlisK of course i don't 😂😂😂@thoxx i didn't say that. What i mean is, the style of using windows is very different than linux. I am a clumsy person. So there you go. A 100 bonus malware for my comps.

@growling I know what you mean - I used to be a Sims 2 fan back in the day ... I had a most of the expansions and back then they made real expansione not just reskins for 30-60$.

However, I wouldn't trust a public torrent anymore - most of the public trackers have gone to shit because the rising amount of fake torrents, uploaded by copyright trolls running honeypot schemes, wannabe hackers re-uploading other peoples work that has been infected with some shoddy adware or malware, or just plainly containing cryptolocker/cryptominer or other forms malware disguised as 'safe' and 'clean' torrent. And let'snot forget the age old "100% free fast -your-search-query-here- download" that only require you to pay up front a one time fee or buy a "free" membership.

In all honesty, downloading malware isn't really something I'd blame on the OS...
I fucking hate windows but yeah, don't agree on blaming this on that system :)

@linuxxx oh god. I didn't blame the OS once more. I can even safely say that it is my fault being clumsy, i can't adapt my OS Using style, since using windows and linux are different.

@theKarlisK definitely true about all that torrent stuff! I’d like to avoid it as much as I can as well :(

Unless you have been torrenting since the Kazaa/limewire days, I wouldn’t recommend anyone do it these days.
So hard to find reliable sources that are actually what you want, and they usually domain hope quicker then you can type them in.

Also DONT download any executables - ever!

@C0D4 meh, if you know what you're doing then tpb should suffice lol

@ScribeOfGoD tpb is down, and blocked officially.
