So I'm in HS CS and some of us know how to code, and the others are struggling with variables (in python).

One of them asks: "Sir, why are doing python? I heard about java and how it changed the internet and stuff"

So naturally my teacher explains the difference (between JS and Java, in case your captain of the USS dumbass), but then described JS in the best way possible:

"JavaScript is basically the California of programming, its a really weird place where people mix everything up and nothing makes sense"

    Must be nice to have CS classes in high school lol

    I was one of 3 out of 185 going to college majoring in anything remotely close to computers.

    But nice analogy 😂

    @M1sf3t Our "computer" classes were how to use office software (PowerPoint, excel, word, ect) and a class that discussed media types. We did like 2 weeks of pure HTML making those eye raping websites.

    I would have killed to have anything more than that. I begged the guidance counselor to try and help me. I actually called and talked to the superintendent of the county schools, but I never had any luck.
