the thing with getting brain issues is you realize all you've invested in yourself was for naught actually

and we always think of that as the most stable investment plan

so now what. I guess I should've invested in external stuff

True. Then again, you can't predict that you'll be the one w/ brain issues, thus there's no point in learning things. Well... maybe outside of testing genetics to learn of any potential brain diseases that might've been passed on to you.

@D-4got10-01 and how are you supposed to exist with brain issues?! you are your brain!

@jestdotty Definitely depends on the brain issues. Some are milder than the other. Also, as long as the brain doesn't leave your body, you still exist... just !in the same way you did before, though.

Like in the case of Alzheimer's, which sucks, given how what made you is gone, leaving something different.

All that said, !here for a debate. I have my own existence to take care of.

@jestdotty Depends what issues, I live a pretty complete life with gold fish memory, and total inability to remember specific things.

Hope for 200, plan for 500

I have my backup plans. If my brain gets borked, I have a plan on how to employ rest of my body to maintain an income. Lower ofc, but sufficient
