I once took care of a cat for a month for my friend. And that was the last of it. I am horrible at taking care of pets. Haha

Haha yup just like that. And my cats are that kind of "clients" because they throw their food to the floor and eat there... little morons

@irene while true, but I fear the cat would have a lot of my stuff to play with which is why I am usually scared to leave a cat alone.

I would love a cat though. When I think I can handle it hahaha

@irene My cat is wild (as in, literally, it's a f. silvestris) and she still needs cuddles. I need some bandages after that, but she does like it, she usually brings me live bats to play with.

@irene She's pretty much like a normal domesticated tabby cat, except she doesn't know how to retract her nails and she dug a bit of a burrow in the crawlspace to hide bats and once a seagull. But she does often fall asleep on my arm or lap while I'm working, and she loves to play.

She's from a French shelter, they were about to put her down because she couldn't be released and was a bit too much for the average family, but my girlfriend really wanted to adopt her.

She even plays nice with the other cats in the neighborhood :)

@irene Yeah I still instinctively protect my carotid artery when she jumps, as she instinctively wants to bite through it. She has become a lot more tame and playful with time though, but her style of playing is still "I'm going to bite your hand, kick you in the stomach, and then let's chase each other for a while"
