The joys of mapping...
I'm playing around with some cartographer parameters and this happened. Thought it fits the christmas theme and was kindas beautiful so decided to share.
It's a map snowflake :3

    This makes me want to get back into game dev.

    LOS, map/obstacle learning, and sound propagation sounds like fun challenges to tackle (again) right now.

    I fked up some tf frame parameters. But I ain't mad at the result.

    @Root kinda is because its a robot sensor visualisation tool, not a modeling tool. Robotics, not game development

    Tell me, @Yevko. How does LOS and map/obstacle learning differ from robot sensor visualization? Right, they don't. But players aren't setting up traps for your robots, either.

    How do creatures (mobs/etc.) Move through a dynamic playground? Predefined pathing? Static hint nodes? lol no. They move thr same way a robot does: LOS and path learning.

    These aren't modeling tools. They're some of the most basic tools of game "AI." So no, this isn't just robotics. It is very very much game development.

    @Yevko Also, the graphic very much looks like a sound propagation graph (without deflection). Which, again, allows creatures to hear and locate the player, and vice versa.
