It's the same for me. I'm on a new cloud devops team and our company is just beginning to get into cloud stuff, so you'd think it would be somewhat easy, right? New team, new environment, we get to make the rules.

But no, we have to deal with legacy on-prem applications anyway. And set up ways for the legacy applications to talk to the new cloud applications. And worry about all sorts of compliance issues when setting up those data transfers because we are a financial services company and leaking that kind of data could put us out of business in a heartbeat.
