Fuck, I had an initial screening on Tuesday. Recruiter said they would send me an email so I can look over some stuff this weekend. No email. I tried messaging them on Indeed where they contacted me about sending them a targeted CV. Nothing. I found them on linkedin and requested a connect. Nothing. I am trying to be relaxed about this, but I will be pissed if they are ghosting me. They need someone before January. Bitch, I am right here!

The absolute worst. Recruiters really are a hit or miss.

Holy hell, linkedin is a wild stalking website. Except they tell you who is stalking you if you pay money. Its like you stay a victim unless you pay linkedin money.

Also, it seems linkedin is purposely trying to keep busy in the feed and has an interest in you not getting a job.

Look Bill, get with the program, Bill. Just kidding. lol.

Looking over stuff in the weekend? Suspicious, unless I got it wrong. It is a popular experience that recruiters are often there to data-farm you and make it sound as much as possible that they're really interested in getting you a job, but in the end they're just interested in making sales figures (sell person to company). You probably already knew that too.

Practically, what I would do is I would try to contact the company you are applying for, if possible (possibly googling the ad keywords but not likely).

Should the messaging be slow, I would say: wait a day, and if no messages, then call the recruiter.
