What kind of fucking application sends me my an e-mail with my password in plain text when I sign-up!?

    Abandon it and never look back! Chances are they also store it in plain text

    I can nearly guess the salary of the dev guy they hired for it.

    A similar rant was posted a while back that had some interesting thoughts on this. The consensus was that it was hopefully sent pre database entry and therefore still hashed and saved in the database properly. I agree that it's still poor form but hopefully the db is one way hashed.

    @donkeyScript Fair enough, but email communication is not always safe so still a bad idea.
