Dear JavaScript devs,

Can you please stop with using new Framework(); everywhere?

Sincerely,
A PHP dev

    They largely do if you go by all of the "The State of Javascript" surveys. The frontend has all days been dominated by react, angular, and vue while the backend has been dominated by express.

    If you think either of them are new frameworks, then you need to get with the time (old man). If you think those medium articles that go "look at this thing, isn't it cool" is how it is everywhere, then you should try browsing the web with wappalyzer.

    I feel you

    Should not matter to you, you give a good backend, let the stupid ones do whatever they want on the front.

    @FinlayDaG33k
    Then you will use those damned JS frameworks eventually

    @FinlayDaG33k there's no escaping JS and when you realize that without a framework you just keep reinventing the wheel over and over it'll make more sense. It'll hurt more if you resist it...

    I say this as a Linux user and windows hater that suddenly has been forced to use windows for a new job... Resistance is futile (at least until I get a new job!)

    @inaba finally someone with the realistic view. I'm tired of these "every minute/day a new framework" posts

    I'm a big fan of vanilla js. Allows you to do anything all those frameworks & libs allow you to. Just create an empty js file, name it vanilla.js and add it to your page. Voila: js superpowers! Unless you don't know js of course but then you should definitely not even use js libs & frameworks.
