@CoffeeNcode every single pokemon episode is the same though (there is three variations, digimon really has a nice plot and has different episodes each day)

@Codex404 The episodes in pokemon are really different, each region, season, generation, legendary pokemon, gym or companion delivers a different aspect to the plotline and the sets it apart from other episodes.

@TCPizza there is three or four base plots, two of them are described below:
Ash travels from one town to another (most of the times it takes two or three episodes), on the road he finds someone or something that needs help, while he is helping team rocket attacks, he beats team rocket, team rocket flies away, he wins.
In town there is an event, team rocket participates in that event using really bad clothes that dont hide their identity. They steal pokemon, ash can beat them, everyone is happy.

@Codex404 you clearly only saw the first seasons... I do love Digimon but Pokémon has a presious place in my heart

@TCPizza i only watched pokemon as a kid and comparing it with digimon from the same time until it was cancelled. At the time of pokemon ruby I did not watch either of them.

You really cant compare pacman with call of duty because of the time difference.
