    Got my master’s in education. Was planning on getting a Ph.D., but my advisor had it in for me and basically borked that altogether.

    Kind of fell into coding by necessity while between jobs and been running with it ever since.

    Personally, I prefer working with people who actually understand what I'm doing.

    Academy isn't bullshit. Academy is where you do things because you want to do it, where you can challenge yourself, where programming is mainly math and logic. Saying that Academy is shit because isn't real-world related, it's like saying that math is shit when it hasn't any real-world application
