Minnow27368yLol I can’t imagine being able to go to bed early... There’s so much stuff I want to do!

Minnow27368y@youprat True true, but my mind says “do it now”... I wish I could fall asleep easily

molgamus708yI used to think that working late was a sign of commitment. Now I've figured out that the opposite is true. Going home early, on time, is a sign of having things under control. Also I'm not paid hourly, so I have no obligation to stay for overtime. The only exception being a manager ordering overtime, for which I should be compensated.
If you yourself don't value your time, no one else will either.
Coworker (junior engineer): "He's a principal engineer, and damn good at his job because he works all night long. You're still lead engineer because you don't work late at night."
Flak I get for *not* being able to stay up after 10:30pm. 😥
