3.) Please ban all "coder meme/joke" sites from instagram. They repost long dead jokes and the jokes don't even make sense if you know how to code.

@gitpush oh, yeah that one... it has been sucked more dry than a hobo's dick after spending a found $1000 bill in the local redlight district...

Wordpress *seems* really bad until you use an independently developed cms. Some of them make WP look pretty damn nice. Just sayin' - thought the same thing until it happened to me.

I don't get the hate to wordpress honestly. I see it here and in other communities. I used other cms as well and it was always a terrible experience. Poor documentation, smaller communities, hard as fuck to find clear directions to follow.

Can someone that hates so much wordpress tell me the best cms evah?

Honestly I talked with other developers in different companies and: Joomla, Prestashop (I have direct experience with this), Drupal, Shopify, Magento... They all complain in the same way. And we're talking about the most used CMSs in the world...

@rafiusks yeah I know that if used properly it can be good, since I made roughly 50 websites with it. In the last 2 years only.

I know WordPress since 2007, and I pretty much like it.

    That's why I asked.

The problem about the price I don't think is wordpress related, since there are wp developers earning 100k+ per year. Even the company I'm working for makes millions of euros out of WordPress.

What I really agree on is that a wp website can become a hell to maintain in the long term if not planned correctly (and if you use lots of plugins)
