@mattwebdev @bjorngi all you have to do is start a start up and get bought out by a bigger company, then go buy that lol

Only before they have kids 🤑

I once did some work at Epic Games in NC (motion capture actor in Gears of War 3) and their parking lot had about a dozen high end sports cars. Then at the Gold party when the game was done, I saw they all had smoking hot girlfriends too. So yeah, just develop a few hit games along with a top game engine, then cruise away into the sunset

The "devs" who would consider a penis- enlargement like that would usually also be the ones who will move up to management for their outstanding skills rather quickly... #rant

I should have said "micro"- management ;)

Butt is all wrong for a Z. I'm with @robnov, looks like a legitimate Ferrari California. (thanks Google image search!... yeah I obsess about cars)

But what is the purpose of having luxury stuff like that?

Its not about what you do, its about who you sell to. Selling in Palo Alto will get you mo money than in india duh!!
  • 1
@nerd-san I see what you did there 😂

I heard dfox will give you one if your rant gets 1500 ++

One of the contractors that worked in a project for the company I work got us to a restaurant to celebrate the end of the project. I think it was last January.

He paid an outrageous amount of money for lunch (the group had more than 15 people, all on him) - still when the bill came he said "wow, just this? I thought the lunch would be more expensive", not in an arrogant way.

Then after we were parting at the parking lot he went for his car and everyone was baffled to see he owned a fucking last year BMW that looked like a fucking batmobile. The lunch should have cost him nothing, really.

    Now the rant:
And here I am, still using the oldest means of locomotion on earth after 2 years of work: walking.

You don't have to sell your start up, and you don't need to be in silicon valley, you just need to build something that either people will pay for, or generates revenue for someone else (who then pays you), and you can build a business that makes money in its own right, and then you can buy your sports car, but I'd say a Jaguar F Type would look nicer, this just looks like a modernised copy of an E Type!

Its not a Tesla.... And if its not a Tesla, then flush it down the toilet.... Tesla is the road to go if u have lot of money and want to buy a car.
  • 1
didn't expect this much of a discussion I love it lol

I can afford the parking spot for a total of 6 hours before I go broke.. Am I rich?

@mclovinit yeah I know it is an endless pursue, the neighbor grass is always greener, no matter your position. We should definitely seek something else instead. 😉

    @sebastian lol sarcasm?
there are about... 10 cars that id buy before a tesla.

also IF that is a real California convertible, you can buy 2 teslas for the cost of that car.

(i still have my doubts about the look of that car)

@mattwebdev no, not sarcasm. I of course mean the high end model of the Tesla... With all addons and packages selected aswell.

Think the nice silent motor with that nice acceleration and cheap "fuel" that dont pollute the air...
