Recently got promoted to Senior Engineer position. Should I be worried for not knowing what that 'Senior' means? 😳

It just means you get more pay... and more blame... because you are a senior...

@iAmNaN it's not always that a bigger pay comes with a senior title :D sometimes it's the same pay and wayyyyyyyyyyyyty more responsibility

@bioDan you see, it depends on your manager or someone above him. Where I'm from it can happen that you get more responsibility without even a tiniest payment increase. It's a common thing in a post-soviet country to work as 2 and get paid as 0.5 people :)

Also, it's getting more and more rare but it happens
