iAmNaN68458yMy first program was a D&D character generator, written in C, for the original D&D. I still have the three little books.

Marowski2688yThat is awesome. My dad has some of the old Chainmail books plus some of the first books and many from 2ed.@xinuxunil

iAmNaN68458yI also have an copy of Tunnels & Trolls, a copy of Chain mail, original Rune Quest, and Empire of the Petal Throne, with maps. Those were some fun days. Technology does not make everything better. @Marowski

I have never gotten the opportunity to play the old versions of my table top rpgs. 3.5 and 4.0 dnd, 4ed Shadowrun, 3ed Mutants and Masterminds, and 3ed (I think) Call of Cthulhu

Marowski2688y@projektaquarius When 3.0 came out was a few years after my father introduced me to D&D. He took me and bought PHB, DMG,and MM. Never could do 4e, but I did snag 5e.
I have always wanted to play Call of Cthulhu! -
@Marowski hey check out roll20.com they might have it on their, it simulates table top games.

Marowski2688y@rainmitchell If I wasn't doing school and full-time work I might do that. Instead I may have to settle for a play by post site. Less hours devoted to it.
Going to go old school D&D. The more I learn in school, plus messing with code to improve my job at work, the more I feel like one of the Magi. The more I level up the more I can interpret the spell books. I may not be able to cast an amazing spell yet, but I can at least know when it is a good time to duck behind something because I fireball is coming my way.
