Dear developers who create an electron based app... Yes it's easy to make custom titlebars but please... Please please please give us the option to use the system default title bars... Looking at you itch!

(Also stop assuming everyone uses windows and use the minimise > maximise > close to the right of the window, not everyone does)

Not everyone who doesn't use windows has them on the left side, too 😃 But it is anoying when you can't chose

I have a pet peeve about things like button order. IMO it should be consistent with the OS you are on regardless of native, browser, etc. I don't like Google/Apple button order in Windows and I don't like Windows button order on Mac.

So true, I rage everytime using VS Code

@BreadTrooper But in vs code is actually option to turn off custom bar, isnt it?

@Omnisus yes there is but the custom bar is default

@lxmcf It could be, but you said that it is okay as long as you have option to change it and you have. Aldo custom sounds like default, because it is what vs code devs prepared and hope others will like it, but also know that you could just want native one and it is fine 😃 There is no reason to rage about vs code windows bar (other points are way more valid)

Yes! Let's reinvent the wheel and make everything ugly and let's apply desktop design principles to touch interfaces everywhere! Why stop with title bars?
