WHY THE ACTUALL FUCK DO PEOPLE PUT JQUERY IN EVERY FUCKING PROJECT EVEN IF IT IS A FUCKING ELECTRON APP AND EVEN WORSE WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO THEY MIX VUE AND JQUERY JUST WHYYY 😢

    @runfrodorun I think until front end frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation use it we'll still see it.

    That and the plugins... all the goddamn plugins.

    Good rant! jQuery is like a drug for some people. It's all they know and they become dependent on it

    If it pleases anyone, I'm actually working on a css/js framework that uses absolutely no jQuery. It's still in the early stages, but it's mostly ready for beta release.

    This is why I like pure-css. Ultra small modular responsive framework with no js dependencies. I use it for most of my personal projects.

    @bittersweet I think I've seen that before. I just left a job with a team where Foundation was a standard thing. It since I'm not there I'm not married to anything. I'll check it out.
