Torn between learning vue and react. Which way should I go?

Nothing stops you from learning both man! Both are great frameworks. But if employment is your main goal I would say React. Of course, this is subjective to where you are located, but the point is that you can learn cool things from both of them.

I do find Vue easier tho.

@AleCx04 is it the fact that react is full js that makes it "harder" than vue?

    Both are nice.

@blackWizard if anything I would say that Vue is more "just JS" than React. People say that about react but I have yet to meet someone that does not use JSX with React. And despite what many would have you believe, JSX is not really "just jsx" since you can't do everything JS can in JSX, it has its own syntax. Vue on the other hand does have its own templating and tag system, but as far as the underlying tech in it goes it is more of a pure JS situation with it. Both are really nice man and I would wholeheartedly recommend both.

Both are pretty good tbh, though I personally prefer react over vue. Don’t ask me why. I’d probably recommend trying out both and see what you like the most

I would recommend Vue starting out, its quite basic and similar to React. I would recommend React for larger projects, though.

    Yes, you should go

I had the same dilemma and chose react for the current job market's higher demand for react devs.

Vue does seem hip though and has potential to mature into an industry standard. For now, I cannot see react relinquishing it's hold anytime soon.

You can even briefly preview both and continue learning the one that makes the most sense to you.
