So with my current windows heavy workload it is with a heavy heart that I commit to learning powershell. Wish me luck

    I actually hate Powershell with a passion, as does another developer friend of mine. The syntax is just god awful and doing anything simple like deleting files takes a lot longer than running the batch equivalent.

    Then again, I'm not a C# dev so that kind of programming is not second nature for me

    @RiderExMachina I understand where you are coming from, but in a windows heavy environment I'm finding that the wmic is giving me really good control over things in a purely remote fashion, I could probably do the same in batch but im starting to like the syntax... Go figure?!

    Lol, I found it easier to make and compile a Golang program than use Powershell, but that could just be me ;)

    Is actually quite nice, as long as you never encounter a customer that enforces strict mode :)
