@netikras Hmm.. you have a point there. Seriously though, any really ethical companies you can suggest? I'm kinda pondering a few things. Not sure if I'll be strong enough to reject a job from a very famous evil corporation.

@netikras ... Sigh. Damn arch linux cult members everywhere...
Edit: Checked netikras profile...
And I guessed 100% correct. -
@beggarboy Genuinely wondering what this has to do with arch Linux..?
I entirely agree with him and definitely not an arch use by the way. -
@beggarboy well I for one do not see google as a big bad wolf. More like an oversized octopus reaching into every area of our lives and having way too much control in its hands. It helps us in our daily lives a lot, but the bigger it grows the more we depend on it. And if it eventually turned into an angry, destructive kraken way too many areas of our lives would be affected.
But until then I like google. As a customer. But I wouldn't enjoy working in thete. Not if the google employees' rants I've read are actually true [which I'm pretty sure is]. I'd call that a toxic environment as it'd take a person with [prolly] low morals to make a career in there. Same applies to Microsoft and Oracle employees.
As for fb - I think we all can agree it's an enormous piece of turd with a gps, cam, mic and a database built-in. It stinks. It's bad. And it's only good for memes and 5 minute crafts videos [which I believe could be easily found smwhr else].
Dunno if I fit your stereotype. I simply prefer to have my own opinion based on what I can observe rather than blindly follow the herd. -
@beggarboy That's quite possibly, definitely. Those users more often want control over their privacy and big bad Google (I think they're a nasty/bad company indeed when you look at the shit they pull or are involved in) sucks in that aspect :)

Okay I realised the issue here. When I mean good, I meant as if I skills, not morally.
How good do you have to be to join large companies like Facebook or Google? 🤔
