Can somebody please tell me What is wrong with Microsoft and their broken piece of shit software?! (sorry to any Microsoft devs, if you read this). How the hell is it that their fucking installer and system repair features is this fucking useless? "Sorry, can't install on disk 0,cause the disk is in gpt format" NO SHIT, you were the fucking asshole who formatted it from the begining. Douchebag.

    I've never heard of someone having to use system repair for 10.

    @iAmNaN
    Welp.
    Might differ from store to store.
    We're having like 5% of our machines being affected over 6 months time.
    Multiplying aspect is our broken WSUS.
    But hey, MOAR CONSULTANTS!

    @iAmNaN it's the second or third time, a relative just switched from a hdd to ssd on her system and called me panicing over that her pc wouldnt boot. Mind you this was a clean install of win 10. So I went overe there and checked it out, and apparently there was no uefi launcher (or whatever) on the disk. So just to try, I tried Win10 start repair.

    @HogDev what brand of SSD? Did it come with cloning software? It sounds like the image wasn't properly cloned to the new drive, and that will really dork things up.

    @iAmNaN Kingston, and no, she used minitool partition wizard.

    @HogDev I'm not familiar with minitool. I have Samsung EVOs in all my machines, and Samsung provides a great tool. I'll be putting a Crucial drive in my little CentOS 7 netbook. My guess would be that something didn't clone properly if the UEFI loader was missing. Hindsight is 20/20, but it probably would have been safer to install the OS from scratch, since it was a clean install.
